The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-140,000.

As part of FMS, the Technology and Innovation in Financial Services pillar focuses on driving responsible innovation in several areas such as global fintech, digital assets, AI in financial services, venture capital, and regulatory technology (regtech) and supervisory technology (suptech). The Lead, Regulatory and Supervisory Technology will be responsible for leading content that improves global collaboration to advance regtech and suptech, and for supporting other initiatives within the Technology and Innovation portfolio of work.
Reporting Lines & InteractionsThe Lead, Regulatory and Supervisory Technology will report to the Head, Technology and Innovation in Financial Services. Internally, the Lead will work with colleagues in our Account Management and Business Development teams, the FMS team, Global Industry team, and a broad range of other stakeholders. Externally, this person will interact and collaborate with constituents ranging from Forum Partner and non-Partner companies, governments, academia, and civil society.
Main responsibilitiesInitiative Management
- Lead the design and delivery of multi-stakeholder initiatives that advance the digital transformation of compliance and financial supervision
- Maintain strong project management of initiatives ensuring deliverables are on track, reporting is consistent and objectives are met
- Keep abreast of relevant news, initiatives, and experimentation in the regtech and suptech space
- Lead the publication of thought leadership pieces on initiative results and regtech and suptech developments, including white papers, briefing papers and blog posts
- Provide project management and related support to additional Technology and Innovation in Financial Services initiatives
Stakeholder Management and Business Development
- Identify, target and develop outreach and engagement plans for potential and existing Forum partners, with particular focus on commercializing FMS’ content and exploring grant-funded opportunities
- Engage a diverse set of executive stakeholders from private and public sectors on strategic deliverables and convenings, frameworks and policies
- Leverage Forum networks, events, and public engagement opportunities to disseminate initiative outcomes
- Preferred Requirements and ExperienceBachelor’s and Graduate degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, or related field
- 6+ years of professional experience working with public and private sectors in areas such as emerging technology, banking, capital markets, fintech, public policy
- Familiarity with regtech and suptech, and demonstrable interest in technology and innovation in financial services
- Strong writing skills
- Professional experience and existing relationships with public and private stakeholders in developed and emerging economies
- Outstanding track record in account management and/or business development at C-suite level
- Excellent strategic acumen combined with the ability to operationalize effectively
- Strong communications skills, including the creation of visually compelling presentations and outreach materials
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional foreign languages a plus
- Willingness to travel 20% of the time
