The Business Unit Food Application Solutions (FAS) offers leading processing technology for the poultry, meat, fish, vegetarian and meat-replacement markets. Our portfolio contains - either stand-alone or complete automated lines, which can be integrated with freezing and packaging solutions. Within the BU FAS for location Bakel, we are looking for a Lean Expert.
Responsibilities / Tasks
As a Lean Expert you support the organization in increase of performance by supporting, leading, training, coaching of continuous improvement initiatives (Lean) across the GEA Bakel organization.
- Support collaboration and value creation in End-to-End processes GEA Bakel.
- Responsible for the execution of improvement projects (Green Belt/Black belt projects) across departments.
- Develop GEA employees towards fact based, continuous improvements by training and coaching.
- Make successes visible and stimulate the continuous stream of improvement projects.
- Take ownership to achieve the productivity, cost reduction, lead time reduction and quality cost targets jointly with functional leaders.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Working experience: preferably 3-5 years within capital goods sector and minimum 2 years within a lean function.
- Certified Green belt with commitment to grow to Black belt.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft office, Power Platform and preferably data analysis tools.
- Good written and verbal skills in Dutch, English and preferably German.
- Knowledge and experience in project management.
- Strong team player, well capable to collaborate with other functions.
- Good leadership and people skills containing flexibility, efficiency and communication skills.
