Job Summary

• Develop technical solutions and new products to support grain processing business development in Asia Pacific regions.
• Actively work on problem solving in the application lab and pilot plants at the customer sites.

How you will contribute and lead:

Execute projects by providing solid technical data, according to the guidance from group leader.
Handle technical service requests and provide technical supports to the customers.
Trouble shooting in the customers’ lab or plant, to help the customers to successfully apply company’s products and draw technical conclusions.
Give technical presentations to various audiences, including internal sales and marketing, staff from other application centers from IFF H&B, and provide technical trainings to external clients.
Following company policy, lab operation & management rules to conduct day-to-day work.
Progress proactive & technical break-through projects in order to well prepare technical solutions for future markets & business development.

What you will need to be successful:

Strong engineering experiences or microbial fermentation experiences; enzyme immobilization development, formulation experience is a plus.

Strong trouble shooting skills with the ability to analyze the problem and adjust the approach accordingly.
Good communication skills (including technical communication) and can provide technical trainings to customers with key technical deliverables.

Strong report preparation / presentation skills.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Experience Required

Minimum 2-year technical experiences with a Bachelor Degree; or equivalent with 1-year of experiences with a Master Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
Competency in English oral and written communication (including technical communication).
Ability to work in a team.
Must be able to work on multiple projects and deliver results.
Willingness to travel.
