Do you want to work in the development of revolutionary new technologies in the area automated cell culture systems? Do you enjoy solving complex customer problems, understanding customer needs and coming up with new solutions to such problems?
We are currently seeking a Product Owner who will be responsible for understanding customer needs, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and confirming customer needs are met.
What we’ll get you doing:
- Collect and prioritize issues and feature requests
- Plan upcoming software versions and sprints in alignment with product management and other stakeholders
- Write user stories in alignment with internal and external users and developers
- Own and manage the product backlog
- Resolve questions and provide guidance to software engineering teams on features
- Attend customer / site visits and some offsite meetings (up to ~10% travel)
- Run sprint reviews and provide training on new product features to other teams
The essential requirements of the role include:
- Master in Biology, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with automatic liquid handling and microscopy in a scientific laboratory or company
- Experience working successfully in a global team environment
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Fluent English, written and spoken essential and German preferred
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with existing Molecular Devices imaging products
- Experience working professionally with software engineering teams
- Familiarity with agile software engineering methodologies
The collective agreement for employees in the electrical and electronics industry applies to the advertised position, the minimum basic salary is € 4215,39,-- gross per month with willingness to overpay collective agreement. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
