The Human Resources Administrator conducts the Manager Self Service (MSS) Support role for manufacturing teams. This role is the liaison between the core work teams and HR to assist with handle the administrative duties in Workday, Symmetry and other necessary HR systems. The Human Resources Administrator supports initiatives implemented by the Human Resources Department and Training to support ongoing business needs. An employee sponsor or advocate, the HRA plays and integral role by utilizing their knowledge to problem solve.
What you will do...
- Provides front desk coverage to support and follow up on the employee inquires, such as attendance points, job bidding, distribution of paperwork.
- Maintain badging system to include processing badges for new, temporary, current employees and contractors as needed; updating the records to termination and delete inactive badges and make any system changes as needed.
- Provides MSS support to the manufacturing teams for transfers, terminations, pay changes etc.
- Tracks 30/60/90-day reviews for completion and filing.
- Works as a liaison for HR Shared Services for Charlotte site location with completing backend WD processing request at times.
- Assist with temporary employee administration.
- Assist with new hire uniform orders and distributions.
- Assist with candidate care.
- Assist for task submitted through the HR Status Changes Boxes.
- Oversees and maintains the HR bulletin boards.
- Coordinates distribution of milestones anniversary awards.
- Partners with Human Resources for new hire orientation and helps with facilitation of the paperwork.
- Assist with HR initiatives (such as annual enrollment, retirements, appreciation lunches, company events, community events etc.)
- Assist with the payroll process as needed.
- Compile and maintain employee records to including filing active and termed employees’ documentation.
- Maintain the record retention schedule for the employee files onsite.
- Creates and sends out letters for standard HR request – employment verification, wages, termination request, etc.
- Maintain the plant seniority list.
- Time will be spent both on the plant floor and in an office environment.
- Acts as a backup HR Coordinator when needed.
What you will bring to the table...
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
- Proficient computer management skills.
- Excellence communication skills required – written and verbal.
- Problem solving and self-starter mindset.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to various levels of the organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Payroll/Timekeeping experience preferred.
- Badging System experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$48,200-$69,300Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
