Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports.
Responsibilities
Identify and understand hazards within the plant.
Know and understand how to read the plant production schedule.
Understand and navigate the Reserve Share Site.
Competency in retrieving and completing blending manufacturing directions.
Verify raw material amounts and adjust blending order accordingly using SAP for inventory checks, confirmations, and work requests.
Blend batches according to blend order, ensuring correct line-ups to and from blender to correct storage tanks.
Perform required analysis for pH, moisture, and Winlims, including Karl Fisher analysis.
Competency in railcar loading and unloading.
Complete cycle counts.
Review and practice Basic EH&S, Basic Quality, Basic Procedure Reviews, SAP, and Double Verification.
Requirements
Education: Process Technician Degree preferred but not required.
Experience: 1-2 years in chemical processing, with a minimum of 6 months plant site experience required.
Proficiency / experience in SAP for inventory management, work orders and confirmations.
Experience with railcar loading and unloading procedures for bulk chemicals.
Understanding of blending procedures and equipment, with the ability to ensure correct line-ups for storage tanks and blending processes.
Ability to work in an industrial plant environment, including the physical capacity to perform tasks such as loading/unloading materials and operating equipment.
