Califia Farms is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) to deliver revenue, trade spend and profit targets for a portfolio of assigned customers. The UK SNAM is a client facing brand ambassador for Califia Farms and you will be passionate about our brand, the dairy alternatives category, and the plant-based movement. This role require
s an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical mentality, and the ability to use data and insights to develop customer specific strategies to drive distribution and positive sales results. You will enjoy building long term partnerships that deliver for both our customers and Califia Farms.
This position works in the London Waterloo office 3 days a week.
- Deliver revenue and profit targets for your customers
- Develop and execute joint business plans for your customers. Translate the Califia brand, category, financial and retailer requirements into a plan that achieves our objectives
- Manage trade spend and effectiveness in order to deliver our projected growth rates. Balance investment with growth opportunities constantly striving for more impactful and effective executions.
- Lead and develop our existing customer relationships moving from a distribution-based model to longer term strategic planning with joint growth plans objectives across the categories we operate in
- Create a clear customer contact strategy and ensure we leverage this with our team in the US and UK to deliver outstanding results
- Understand customer needs and category objectives to fully develop how Califia Farms can help them achieve their goals. Find the sweet spot to help us grow whilst meeting our customer needs in a commercially sustainable way.
- Execute our shopper plans to engage shoppers at a range of touchpoints across the shopper journey. Work closely with the marketing team to build on these as appropriate.
- Launch our NPD exceptionally and be seen as best in class by our customers
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary administration and achieve all key targets for forecast and planning accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement and act as a catalyst for change and a sales leader who does not accept the status quo.
Competencies & Experience
- Solid experience working across Tesco and other Major grocery customers in the UK with a proven track record of delivering success with your customers
- Strives for excellence, demonstrates initiative and being proactive
- Clear communication style that lends itself to developing relationships with our customers
- Experience working collaboratively across functional departments such as finance, supply chain, marketing to ensure we achieve the right results for the business
- Be a good influencer both internally and externally to help deliver against your objectives
- Proficient experience in negotiating terms with customers that demonstrates a strong commercial platform and understanding
- Embrace Califia’s core values and demonstrate these on a day-to-day basis
- Passion for launching new products and executing them to the highest standard
- A creative and positive mindset to overcome challenges and objections both internally and externally to ensure we deliver for the business and exceed our customers’ expectations

Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in a comparable position
- Further education via University or equivalent
- Negotiation and sales training High proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
