Internship Industrial biotechnology strain development.
Breda (The Netherlands), starting from Feb 2025, for minimal 6 months.
BioscienZ offers an internship in industrial biotechnology. The purpose of the internship is to develop a fungal strain with improved enzyme secretion by classical strain improvement.
Main responsibilities during the R&D internship are:
- Execute mutation rounds
- High throughput cultivation, production and analysis to select improved mutants
- Fungal fermentation process development (lab scale bioreactors)
- Optimize high throughput selection methods
Who are you?
- You follow a relevant study i.e. biotechnology or microbiology (master)
- Wet lab experience involving the cultivation of microbes
- You are based in The Netherlands
