We're looking for a Molecular Biology Specialist to join our awesome team.
Your experience with molecular biology and mammalian tissue culture will make you an essential member of our technical team. You will work alongside a brilliant group of scientists and engineers, supporting our journey towards large-scale production of cultivated fat.

This is a fully in-person role.
As a Molecular Biology Specialist, you will collaborate closely with scientists on our R&D team to provide biological insight at every stage of our cell line development pipeline. Your responsibilities will include conducting high-throughput PCR-based assays, designing, implementing and executing molecular biology assays and experiments and assisting in the characterisation of stable engineered cell lines generated by our R&D team. You will spend your time in our molecular biology and tissue culture labs, supporting our entire cell-line development workflow. Your exceptional teamwork, attention to detail and reliability will make you an essential member of our team.
You should have:
- A master's degree (or equivalent experience) in molecular biology, biochemistry, synthetic biology or a related discipline
- Excellent knowledge of molecular and synthetic biology techniques
- Experience with mammalian cell culture
- A talent for teamwork and collaboration
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and attention to detail
Ideally you'll have experience in some, but not necessarily all, of the following areas:
- PCR-based techniques
- RNA/DNA extraction and purification
- Cell line characterisation
- Molecular cloning and sequencing
- High-throughput screening
- Automated liquid handling
