Slutty Vegan, a popular plant-based food truck and restaurant chain based in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking Crew Members to work food truck events. We offer fun, high-energy experiences- plant-based burgers, piled high with sauce, toppings & other hearty vegan eats. Slutty Vegan’s mission is to create enjoyable, community-oriented experiences for all people to enjoy and provide more(vegan) options than the norm.
The Role
Reporting into store leadership, Food Truck Crew Members are responsible for a variety of Slutty Vegan’s food truck operational tasks. As the first and sometimes the last point of contact for customers, Food Truck Crew Members are responsible for providing the fast, friendly, and fun Slutty Vegan experience at food truck events.. This position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Preparation:
- Assist in preparing food items according to our recipes and standards.
- Stock food trucks with necessary ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Operation:
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the food truck.
- Operate food truck equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain food truck equipment and surfaces.
- Previous experience working in a food truck concept a plus but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, restroom, etc.
- Basic math skills and the ability to operate POS systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours including nights and weekend shifts.
- High energy to keep up with our fast-paced environment.

- Prepares and ensures consistent, high-quality products are served to customers.
- The ability to control and utilize equipment and machines safely and correctly.
- Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed.
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
- Follow Slutty Vegan’s safety procedures.
- ServSafe Certification a plus but not required.
- The Crew Member role occasionally has physical requirements which include but are not limited to stand for long periods; walk, bend, kneel, and reach with hands, boxes or food containers typically weighing 50 pounds or less, without restrictions.
Preferred Technical Skills: Knowledge of Restaurant 365, Jolt, Seven Shifts, Toast and Dolce
