Job Qualifications are:
5 years plant experience preferred
SHE knowledge required
PSM knowledge preferred
Knowledge of production and warehousing activities preferred
Food Safety knowledge required
Mircosoft Office competency required
Must have the ability to articulate and technical writing skills to develop
procedures and policies for operations
Planning skills for measuring a training program in coordination with the
Area Supervisors
Effective communication skills in English and Spanish
Primary Responsibilities are:
1. Detail orientated writing skills to develop operating procedures throughout the Carrollton site. SOPs to include safety aspects, start up and run, shut down, cleaning and non-standard run response.
2. Work to develop and train performance requirements for site, knowledge tests, skills demonstration, job cycle checks, skills demonstration testing/assessments, and other core training responsibilities on specific tasks.
3. Support with procedural and training actions from task risk assessments.
4. Ability to present topics in front of an audience.
5. Acts as a key interface between areas of the site and Leadership.
6. Ability to qualify or disqualify individuals if assessment is not met.
7. Measures training effectiveness:
- Conducts classroom and hands on skill demonstration, etc.
- Validate competencies learned and track
- Conducts assessments of the training process
- Develops and maintains metrics on training/ effectiveness
- Partner with Quality and safety leads to create and upgrade training material as needed
- Ensure standardization occurs where possible
- Open to feedback from organization on training skills
- Coach and mentor employees at the site on training development
8. Capable of learning multiple programs and adapting material to each for training:
- Microsoft Office
- Programs that can be uploaded into Workday
- SharePoint
9. During the 36 months becomes TOT certified.
