The Operations Leader is responsible for directing and managing the daily operations of an organization, ensuring efficiency, productivity and quality in the delivery of products or services.
- Leads Operations area for multi product production site
- Provide leadership to plant operations group
- Understand, support and communicate company strategic initiatives.
- Utilize other Operations leaders as resources to ensure best practices are shared and implemented.
- Resource for Company on Strategic initiatives/projects
- Support cross functional/cross site operations project teams.
- Set expectations. (Operational excellence, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, stretch goal achievement, Employee Development.)
- Communicate expectations, performance, and results within local operations and global supply chain organization)
- Lead problem identification and solving.
- Performance management (goal setting, performance measurement, recognition, feedback, coaching, counseling, confronting and reward.)
- Organizational development (Structure, vision and culture.)
- Cost Management (lead operations budget development, Tracking, Measuring, Reporting.)
- Policy administration.
- Promote and support plant processes (GMP, ISO, Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality, Continuous Improvement.)
- Establish operational priorities and focus.
- Establish and promote vision and rally the organization.
- Interact with external and internal customers.
