Position Overview The Launch Program Project Manager oversees the end-to-end process of bringing new products to market. The role coordinates with cross-functional teams, manages project timelines, and ensures successful product launches that meet company goals and customer expectations.
Essential Job Functions
Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of food, packaging, and supply chain solutions for new products and packaging projects.
Documents and tracks NPD progress utilizing project management software.
Develop and maintains project briefs to align teams on objectives, key attributes, and project scope for product launches
Collaborates with the LPM to create materials for Stage Gate and internal/external meetings.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Complies with the Stage Gate Process quality system and helps to enforce standard operating procedures.
Report out on project progress, identify risks, develop "plan B" options, and escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner to keep projects on track.
Utilizes market research and consumer insights to inform launch strategies and ensure product-market fit.
Seeks continuous improvement within the NPD function, leveraging insights from project retrospectives and industry best practices to optimize processes.
Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

This position reports to the Launch Program Manager.
Education and Experience
2 or more years of project management experience, AND
1 or more years of innovation or R&D experience, AND
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or similar field; OR
Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
Experience with project management software.
Familiar with NPD and Stage Gate
Physical Demands
Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately two hours at a time.
May be required to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
The primary work environment for this position is within an office setting. There are no adverse conditions associated with this position.
Limited business travel required, less than 10% dependent on project needs.
Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.
