We need a Digital Product Specialist who can navigate the dynamic intersection of technology and business to engage our members and constituents online. The Digital Product Specialist will play a critical role in building a purpose-driven digital platform that connects stakeholders to solve some of the world’s most difficult challenges. Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Discovery:
- Lead the conceptualization and launch of groundbreaking digital products and features.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to transform business strategy into product strategy, creating tangible value.
- Identify and gather product requirements, bridging the gap between business and technology.
- Engage with other digital product managers to maintain consistency and contribute to the Forum's digital engagement strategy.
Product Execution:
- Work hand-in-hand with designers to create user-centric designs that effectively solve business challenges.
- Utilize validation frameworks, such as usability testing and stakeholder interviews, to refine designs.
- Collaborate with dynamic engineering and QA teams to overcome obstacles and facilitate seamless, timely product execution.
- Maintain a proactive approach, with a meticulous focus on assisting teams to ensure top-notch product quality.
Analytics and Communication:
- Build a shared vision across the organization, driving consensus on product priorities and execution.
- Utilize data analytics to define and assess key metrics that measure the success of our products and features.
- Partner with the Digital Success team to communicate the product's value proposition, crafting presentations and training materials for internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in product management for consumer-facing SAAS digital products; a master's degree is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking, along with a deep passion for product development.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams of designers and engineers for efficient delivery.
- A strong sense of customer empathy, dedicated to improving how businesses serve and engage people.
- Proficiency in articulating business requirements in clear documentation for design, engineering, and QA teams.
- Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- A solid understanding of technical infrastructure and coding practices. While a technical background is not required, you should be comfortable discussing technical details with engineers.
- Fluent in English, with exceptional written, digital, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce and Figma is a plus.
