Lead the Record-to-Report North America into excellence. Manage the operations and activities of GL Accounting Team on a day-to-day basis, supervises employees, monitor activities, and satisfy internal reporting requirements on time
- Manage a high-performance team, providing strong leadership and customer service focus (both internally and externally).
- Participate in the GBS lead team and support the development of service & quality GBS.
- Ensure strong collaboration with other Record-2-Report activities – affiliates and stakeholders- other departments.
- Review and approve accounting transactions.
- Review and analyze GL account reconciliations and General Ledger/trial balance to ensure the financial figures are correct.
- Main contact for local Finance teams to align processes or discuss potential adjustments.
- Manage overall team performance by driving an engaged and proactive mindset.
- Ensuring team utilization, holiday balance and mandatory trainings are on track with the set guidelines.
- Setting and executing mitigation plans to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor the accounting activities globally, drive change and integration to improve our KPIs into Region.
- Drive process improvements and new transitions within the Team.
- Promote the culture of continuous improvement, lead initiatives associated with end-to-end R2R process.
