Work Shift: Day Pay Type: Salary Hourly Rate (if applicable): N/A Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): $126,900.00 - $164,700.00 JOB OVERVIEW: The Sr. Manager of Supply Planning is a critical leader in the Blue Diamond Growers Global Supply Chain organization to achieve the strategic plan through developing inventory plans to execute service and cost targets to facilitate growth. The role is responsible for transforming and validating the Sales & Operations Planning process across multiple business units and product lines – Commodity, Business-to-Business, and Consumer Packaged Goods – to harmonize supply plans to limit waste, drive factory utilization, and attain world-class service levels. The role builds, directs, measures, and enables a center of excellence pillar in supply planning capability by creating alignment with cross-functional partners to enhance service and performance. This position leads the Supply Review process each month with critical counterparts in Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for Supply planning a complex portfolio from crop to shelf by partnering across business units and external partners to execute success despite high volatility and seasonality across the globe. Leads mid-range (0 – 24month) constrained capacity, production, and inventory scenario modeling with SAP IBP to deliver collaborative fact-based modeling to align the enterprise. Develops talent and capability of the next generation planner that manages via exception management with essential product team dashboard engagement towards supply alignment. Leads and effectively facilitate Supply Review to drive enterprise alignment for inventory plan coverage to support commercial and strategic growth initiatives. Lead Supply Review Meetings for S&OP and help facilitate all pre-alignment meetings/tasks with key stake holders to identify significant supply changes and concerns. Drive alignment/communicate assumptions, new plans, and recommendations. Supports Portfolio Review as the lead for Supply – drives portfolio management and executes optimal distribution strategy to execute Product Portfolio strategies effectively. Engages and leads a team of professional Supply Planners: Onboarding, coaching for professional and career development, succession planning, and setting goals and priorities. Lead Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) meeting, partnered with Customer Fulfillment, Sales Operations, and Logistics to ensure service and proactively identify problems or constraints Balance tactical delivery of the business with delivering on a longer-term strategic vision. Serve as a key leader within Global Supply to drive balanced production plans that harmonize service and performance delivery with representation to commercial partners as supply leader. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or other technical degrees 7 years of supply planning experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or similar environment. A proven track record of collaboration, delivering results, and influencing decisions across the organization at a headquarters level. Strong business acumen, planning skills, and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships that lead to balanced trade-off decisions. Demonstrated production & capacity planning expertise with enterprise planning systems such as SAP IBP or similar. Proven track record of cross-functional project management leadership to implement large scale change management project with resource allocation. Skilled at managing multiple priorities with the flexibility to adjust as needed to create visibility, priority and focus on delivering results via communication. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills (listening, written, verbal). Total minimum number of years of experience required in lieu of degree 10 or more years supply planning experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or similar environment. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES CPIM/CSCM, APICS Strong communication, decision making, problem-solving, negotiation, planning, and leadership skills to facilitate executive level. In depth experience with enterprise resource planning system development preferably SAP and SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning). Experience with Network and Capacity scenario modeling linked with manufacturing and logistics trade off decisions. Operations, Supply Chain and/or Planning experience in a food, beverage, or agricultural commodity processing environment. Ability to create vision, cause of change and change management plans with timelines to present initiatives for alignment with focused resource allocation towards execution. Experience leading teams and delivering results by building engagement towards building mid and long-term planning horizons to deliver purposeful and planned execution.
