Here's What We Want You To Do
Support and enable the business by delivering engineering work, meeting set targets, aligned with the overall Sustainable Supply chain strategy and Global standards
The role is focusing on engineering process improvement work and execution to improve efficiency for Millville assets to improve sustainability, safety, quality, work environment and much more
Drive continuous improvement activities for people and food safety, process improvements, machine availability and loss reduction.
Work in close collaboration, nurturing a network with other site organizations in US and globally, Global Engineering, Global Quality, Supply functions and external partners such as engineering suppliers
Participate and lead activities during all phases of site projects from design to commissioning and startup
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for process equipment and instrumentation to the operations, quality, and maintenance functions with the aim to reduce manufacturing losses and stabilize process
Assist the quality function to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Determine utility requirements for best efficiency and sustainability
Quantify and improve long term capacity and OEE
Prepare, modify, and maintain flow diagrams and P&ID’s as well as equipment, instrumentation, and production specifications.
Provide our CAPEX and innovation projects with necessary documentation such as; flow sheet diagrams, functional descriptions, technical specifications, 2D layouts etc
Develop SOP’s and operating manuals, train personnel
Provide technical support to the R&D and Operations teams during product scale-up and troubleshooting activities
Track and present process performance at daily site meetings.
Identify opportunities for improvements and planning, facilitating or leading the execution.
Contribute to the site objectives by coaching and educating colleagues in the use of continuous improvement methods and tools and the overall production process.
Use SCADA systems and other digital solutions necessary to improve the production process and reduce losses.
Be involved in relevant CAPEX projects. Guarding the interests of the factory and setting yearly targets related to safety, training, maintenance (AM/PM), manuals/SOPs
Here's What We Think You Need
Masters or Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Food, Biotech, Mechanical or similar)
CAD Design in 2D and 3D
Training with food process industry/packaging industry
Continuous improvement, LEAN, TPM
Testing, Commissioning, validation and start up
Travel by plane may be necessary periodically
