At our site in Niederlenz, we are looking for a new member of staff. As a
Field Service Engineer, you will travel across the EMEA region and occasionally worldwide to install, repair, and troubleshoot equipment directly at customer sites. You will bring your expertise to support customers and internal teams.
Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)
Work You’ll Do
- Travel the world: Plan, prepare and execute service assignments across the EMEA region, (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and occasionally worldwide.
- Be the expert on the ground: Commissioning new equipment and performing repairs and troubleshooting on-site at customer locations.
- Collaborate with top talents: Share your field experience with our Engineering and Sales team and deliver technical training to our customers.
- Be the go-to expert: Provide technical support by phone during office hours and step up as a go-to expert for our 24-hour hotline.
- Drive Results: Proactively promote and sell products and services while collaborating with our spare parts and sales teams across EMEA
- Own your journey: Take full control of your travel schedule and expenses in line with our guidelines.
Team
This role will directly report to the Service Manager.
Your Qualifications
- Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics.
- Several years of experience as a field service engineer and in the maintenance, commissioning, and repair of technical equipment, ideally in an international environment
- Problem-solver mindset with the ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner.
- Very good communication skills in English, additional languages are a plus.
- High willingness to travel (up to 80% of your time) and flexibility.
