Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate tasks and projects related to mechanical, automation, electrical systems, and software development activities. The successful candidate will act as a vital bridge between our team in India and various stakeholders across Europe. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Offshore Project Management:
- Coordinate and oversee the transfer of identified tasks and projects from European teams and engineering suppliers to our engineering teams in India
- Establishing clear communication channels, defining project scope and objectives, and ensuring timely completion
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise
Stakeholder Communication
- Assist and support managers in Europe in transferring tasks and projects to our India engineering teams. Provide guidance and support throughout the process to ensure successful handover and establish execution without further involvement
- Gather new requirements from European stakeholders and communicate them effectively to the relevant teams.
- Facilitate regular meetings and updates with E&I Managers to ensure alignment and transparency
Process Development
- Set up and maintain a streamlined process for offshore project management. Continuously improve the process by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Documentation And Reporting
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of project workflows, including standard operating procedures, project plans, and status reports
- Establish an overview of necessary administrative requirements, such as service agreements between legal entities, payment terms, and models, as well as system access. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure compliance with these requirements
- Establish and maintain a reporting with relevant KPIs in alignment with the E&I Management in Europe and India
Travel Coordination
- Coordinate and manage travel arrangements for project-related trips to Europe
- Ensure all travel complies with company policies and budget constraints
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and developers, to ensure seamless project execution
- Foster a collaborative and productive working environment
Budget Management
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets for R&D projects and other initiatives
- Monitor expenditures and ensure projects are completed within budget.
Qualifications
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in product-based industries
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel to Europe as required.
Preferred Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
- Experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
