- Support and drive Engineering projects & development activities within HRT as well as other Divisions
- Manage and develop employees to ensure that reliable and skilled resources are available to support different divisions across legal entities and differences in working methodologies
- Continually search for new ways to meet or exceeded expectation to create value to stakeholder
- Proposes value addition solution and in constant seek out diverse thinking to maximize use of stakeholder’s experience, background, and perspective.
- Create, maintain, and build relationship with internal stakeholder
- Planning & distribution of work in team. Resolve & troubleshoot day to day activities
- Ensure, your team secure quality of work & deadline.
- Focus on high utilization of team and customer satisfaction of global customers
- Establish and maintain relationships within the assigned area of clients based on trust and good results.
- Maintain mechanism (2+2) to ensure employees develop a specific know-how, but still are flexible
- Day to day improvement of work processes and collaboration with the major customer within the assigned area of clients
- Build up new competences
- Provide feedback on fluctuation of workload within team and discuss across other managers within GEP.
- Interview and hire new employees in consultation with Line manager.
- Managing and evaluating employee’s yearly performance
- Monitor and approve time sheet, leave application and other employee related administration.

- Communications:
- Work with managers in HRT and/or other divisions global within the assigned area of clients to foster growth and transfer of additional workload to Global Engineering Pool India
- Communicate among L5 management in Global Engineering Pool for workload
- IT team for infrastructure/IT related issues
- Managing communication with Global stakeholders in different time zones as and when required
Your Profile / Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- 10 -12 years relevant experiences in component design
- Minimum 5 years with GEA
- Proven leadership skills to run & build a team
- Experiences of managing team supporting regional and global stakeholders
- Working in a global (project) role in challenging environments (e.g., global joint projects)
- Understanding customer experiences to be able to reflect customer expectations in our standards, processes, tools
- Experience and knowledge of various CAD and PDM/PLM tools
- Communication skills and ability to convince employees to change behaviour without being line manager
- Explains and demonstrates concepts and advanced technologies in an understandable way.
- Ability to work in a global role with multinational stakeholders
- Ability to drive efficiency increase through improved processes
- Experience with stakeholder management towards operational staff in other divisions/business units within an organization
- Takes on tough challenges with sense of ownership. Approach works individually and with teams with optimism and solution-oriented Agile mindset.
