Job includes two components:
- Technical Consultant
- Active Sales Support
- Tecnical Consultant
- Consultant to client for technical requests, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Being the “Technical Face” to the clients.
- Provide technical and process support to sales department.
- Arrange and execute repairs, maintenance, and modifications.
- Support and manage new machine installation / commissioning activities.
- Prepare technical and field service reports.
- Understand Japanese requirements and regulations for all relevant service topics.
- Reporting and cooperating to/with team lead and departments at HQ.
- Manage inquiries to local partner and suppliers.
- Active Sales Support
- Sales support for Coperion after sales products.
- Promote and introduce Coperion aftersales product portfolio to clients and explain the requested products in detail.
- Evaluate which aftersales products suits to the individual clients.
- Support commercial work out of quotes.
- Close cooperation with spare parts sales.
Qualification
- Engineering degree in mechanical-, process- or electrical engineering.
- Experienced in maintenance, field service and modernisation activities.
- 3+ years working experience in equivalent employment.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project.
Skills
- Very good technical and process understanding.
- Able to discuss all matters around technology, service / maintenance and troubleshooting with clients and HQs in an efficient and professional manner.
- Able to issue detailed reports, internally and to clients.
- Knowledge of Japanese business practices and specific local requirements.
- Professional attitude, highly motivated, well organized, able to work independently.
- Efficient and target orientated workstyle.
- Being a team player is mandatory.
- Fluent Japanese and English in writing and speaking.
- Distinguished verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to travel frequently, mainly domestic, on demand also international.
