We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at PBN Digital (internal agency of Plant Based News). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling visual content primarily focused on Meta ads, supporting the team in ideation, briefing, and curating ad assets. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and organisational abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging social media graphics that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Assist in the ideation and conceptualisation of ad campaigns for brands, with a primary focus on Meta ads, ensuring visual consistency and brand coherence across all platforms.
- Create Meta ad assets such as statics, GIFs, and promotional videos to enhance marketing efforts and drive audience engagement. Adhere to client feedback and make suggested changes to assets as requested.
- Maintain a strong understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices to optimise content performance, particularly for Meta platforms.
- Support the team with administrative tasks including file management, email correspondence with clients, and project coordination.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions, offering fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for Meta ad campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, marketing strategists, and other team members to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand messaging across Meta ad campaigns.
- Stay organised and efficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project milestones.
Requirements:
- A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work, with a focus on social media graphics and Meta ad assets.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), and their respective content requirements.
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for visual storytelling and brand communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship, preferably within a digital marketing agency or creative studio.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
