At Nutropy, your job will consist in:
- Assist in the development and scale-up of new food product formulations hand-in-hand with your supervisors and colleagues, working both autonomously and in collaboration
- Help design, plan, execute and analyze projects and experiments to improve our knowledge of ingredients and product taste, texture and shelf life
- Identify bottlenecks and re-design processes accordingly
- Manage a rigorous lab notebook
- Prepare and present results to your supervisors and the team
- Collaborate with the different departments
- Perform literature searches when necessary and propose innovative solutions
- Maintain equipment as well as laboratory inventory, consumables and solutions
- Undertake any other activies as needed by the business
Skills we are looking for:
Education & Experience:
- Ongoing degree in food science or related disciplines (bachelor to masters)
- Interest in food product development, dairy products, microbiology, lipids or proteins
- Previous work on prototype development is a plus
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Working English, French is a plus
- Experience in managing and executing R&D projects, ideally with new ingredients is a plus
