Job Description
What does working in brand management at Hershey mean? It is total business owner, having a leadership role within the organization and a dynamic path to enhance your career experiences. As a Marketing Manager of Sweets & Refreshments portfolio you will own the brand strategy through to execution on Twizzlers, Jolly Rancher and Ice Breakers, in addition to managing these brands on a day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing multi-year brand strategy (Annual Business/Marketing plans) into full-funnel IMC executions across multiple consumer touchpoints
- Conducting external and internal assessments across multiple areas (business environment, competitors, consumer, customers, market trends), working with business partners to drive insights into actions.
- Lead brand creative, partnerships and media strategy, leveraging agency & other business partners.
- Develop and execute meaningful new product innovations that will drive brand development and growth.
- Manage ongoing business, including analysis of business results, budgeting, SKU management, financial forecasting and reporting, etc.
- Work closely with key cross functional partners to ensure brand strategies drive closely linked sales strategies and in-retail execution.
- Innovate, explore, and test new marketing ideas in an environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, marketing or business preferred.
- 5+ years of brand management experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- High proficiency in Excel, Power Point, AC Nielsen
- Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver in a fast-paced/evolving working environment.
- Strong personal leadership, cross-functional teamwork and strategic thought leadership
- Strong presentation skills, communication and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements and ability to translate into business opportunities.
- Proven track record of leading agencies to create and execute high impact marketing campaigns.
- Experience in people management.
