The Supply Quality Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Campbell Soup Company’s Corporate Supply Quality Management Program. This individual partners with Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Research and Development, Business unit plants, Suppliers, Brokers, and 3rd parties to actively manage Food Safety and Quality performance of Campbells supply base. The Supply Quality manager drives an industry leading Supply Quality culture of continuous improvement with internal and external partners to deliver on our Food Safety, Quality, Customer, Consumer, and business expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field.
- 7 years’ experience in Food Safety and Quality.
- 1 year experience working in the Operations function at a food manufacturing plant.
- 50% travel for supplier audits and meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food plants, as a food industry supplier, or manager of suppliers at a CPG.
- Certifications: ASQ, auditing, HACCP, GFSI, PCQI, Food Safety and Quality Systems, Supplier management, project management, Six sigma, and lean manufacturing.
- Thorough knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Systems, quality auditing procedures, FDA and USDA Food Safety and Quality Regulations.
- Strong knowledge of supplier management and experience in ingredients and packaging categories.
- General computer literacy required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Interpret, effectively communicate, and execute Supply Quality strategies, road map, objectives, and programs with cross functional and supply base partners to drive continuous improvement. Brings unique perspective to every discussion and delivers results in line with objectives.
- Category management: Apply Food Safety and Quality management expertise on materials and processes related to a wide range of Ingredient and Packaging categories.
- Standards Management: Effectively write, interpret, communicate, train, and enforce Campbells policies, standards, procedures, and specifications. Ensure Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality standards management to deliver world class Supply Quality program execution.
- Risk Management: Ability to understand, interpret, and action against Food safety and Quality risk/opportunities for improvement in the Supply base management. Conduct supplier risk assessments, assign supplier ratings, and perform supplier assessments and
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$85,900-$140,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
