As a Procurement Business and Market Analyst you will perform Procurement analytics and reporting activities using business intelligence tools and technologies in accordance with the quality standards of the business, besides supporting strategic decision making by conducting research on various Indirect (services) and Raw materials (materials) categories.
You will be based in Budapest, Hungary (hybrid role, ) and will report directly to the Business Market Analyst and Sourcing Support Team Manager.
You will:
Deliver analytical and reporting solutions based on business requirements (collecting external and internal data, consolidating and structuring information into a database)
Run recurring and ad-hoc reports or research based on defined criteria and cycle using past and prospective information
Create informative layout and visualization (design, build and test)
Contribute to the automation agenda and to overall improvement of the Team’s deliverables
Present relevant information and findings to Procurement and other Givaudan functions
Act according to the team’s governance principles: ensure integrity, quality and compliance
Your profile includes:
College or University degree in the field of Data Science, Finance, Economics or equivalent
Strong analytical and numeracy skills
Attention to detail and good listening skills
Good presentation skills
Fluency in English, additional fluency in French, German or Spanish is an advantage
Advanced MS Excel (Power Pivot and Power Query knowledge is a huge advantage) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
Knowledge of data visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI) is an advantage
Proven experience of business intelligence, data storytelling, data visualisation techniques is an advantage
Experience with programming languages (especially JavaScript, Google Apps script or VBA) is advantage
