The Role
Calling All Innovators: Join Our Productivity – Processing Team as an R&D Intern and Revolutionize Food Process Upscaling!
Location: Wageningen, Netherlands
Start date: September 2024 (6 months)
About The Role
Enthusiastic and passionate R&D intern that will contribute to our agenda
Supporting the team with defining key enablers and rules to upscale our pilot plant capabilities to factory scale.
Main responsibilities include: collecting process design information of Upfield's processing units on lab-, pilot plant- and factory-scale
Creating an overview of estimated shear rates for the different unit operations and, most importantly, defining rules and guidelines to facilitate upscaling of Upfield's processing equipment.
Ideal Profile
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
Be completing a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Processing at a Dutch university
Ability to collect data from different sources and compile it in a structured way
Ability to analyse data, finding valuable insights and key patterns
Be proactive!
