Procurement
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Generate purchase orders to meet business requirements efficiently.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely release of payments to suppliers.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and develop strong supplier relationships.
- Source and create new vendor profiles based on division needs and requirements.
- Negotiate competitive prices and favorable terms with suppliers.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive supplier purchasing files, including pricing information.
Inventory Management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse inventory.
- Review and maintain inventory systems to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform regular cycle and physical counts of inventory.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to suggest improvements in inventory levels.
- Monitor and review aging inventory to ensure timely turnover.
- Manage all inventory within batch management systems to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Support reverse logistics processes to meet relevant KPIs.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 - 5 years experience preferred
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience in procurement and inventory management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical and cycle counts accurately.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and batch management.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to review and address inventory discrepancies effectively
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
- Detail oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple projects related to procurement and inventory
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
