Work Shift: Day Pay Type: Salary Hourly Rate (if applicable): N/A Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): $114,300.00 - $148,300.00 JOB OVERVIEW: Acts as a leader, both as a manager of a small team, and as a champion of process optimization and organizational excellence. Supports the sales and trade forecasting process for the division and owns the outputs of Trade Fund Management (TFM) system. Supports the Field Sales Team by translating customer needs into action and activating internal business partners in Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. Helps deliver volume and profit objectives by building, reporting progress against, and executing the Annual Operating Plan. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Supports Field Sales by assisting in forecasting volume and trade spend within the trade funds system (TFM), advising on strategy, and ensuring execution of plans through cross-functional partnerships. Oversees a small team of analysts to deliver quality outputs for the organization while supporting their growth and development. Serves as subject matter expert in trade fund management. Works extensively with TFM software to ensure promotional activities are optimized, tracked, and on-budget. Provides recommendations to senior management regarding action and strategy by leveraging team’s analyses. Owns portfolio of Sales reports (regular and ad hoc) for internal and external partners, which pull from multiple data sources. Ensures accuracy and timeliness while continuously optimizing to drive action and results. Maintains TFM system and serves as liaison between BDG and software vendor. Ensures system is meeting the needs of BDG and submits support tickets as needed. Contributes to development roadmap including additional integration and modules. Functions as a key participant in monthly S&OP process and interfaces between Field Sales and Supply Chain on operational issues. Responsible for tracking risks/opportunities and passing volume forecast data to Demand Planning and Finance to support S&OP and LE processes. Supports Revenue Growth Management activities by providing post-promotional analysis to ensure activities are efficient and profitable. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree 5 years experience in business analytics, sales operations, and/or sales forecasting. 1 year experience leading a team of direct reports. Strong business acumen and strategic decision-making skills. Proven leadership abilities in managing, supporting, and developing direct reports. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Ability to translate insights and analysis into results by developing action plans and recommendations, fostering organizational alignment, and overseeing tasks to completion. Effective financial aptitude; knowledge of FP&A processes and P&L management. Sound understanding of concepts and principles in Sales/Marketing and working knowledge of the same in Finance and Supply Chain. Experience interacting with and supporting Sales functions. Experience with Trade Fund Management software (BluePlanner experience a plus.) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint) and Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros, etc.) Occasional travel (up to 3-5 days per quarter.) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.) Background in Sales and Demand Planning (SAP/IBP experience a plus.) Syndicated sales data software experience is preferred (i.e. IRI or Nielsen.) In depth understanding of how Sales integrates with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and the Business; in depth knowledge of industry and market operations. Advanced Business Intelligence skills (i.e. Power BI, Tableau.) CPG experience.
