As our Head of People & Culture, you'll:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and assemble a high-performance team spanning all levels of our organization, from the farm team to executives, dedicated to achieving our mission
- Oversee all facets of people operations, office management, and talent acquisition
- Collaborate with the executive team to craft short and long-term people strategies that drive growth
- Cultivate strong relationships with all leaders, guiding them through complex people matters
- Harness an entrepreneurial spirit to engage and empower our teams
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication, trust, and respect among team members
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and overall performance
- Spearhead culture initiatives to boost employee engagement and morale
- Develop and implement systems and processes to support our people objectives
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and best practices
- Embrace a mindset of relentless reprioritization when faced with challenges
- Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence

Education and/or Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in people, process and culture development
- Five (5+) years experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in business management, HR certification, and a strong passion for sustainability
The Albany pay range for this role is based on the candidates' skills and experience. The range is $175,000-225,000.
Location: To secure the best talent, this position can be virtual/remote with travel to Green Island, New York as needed.
