The Role
EVERY is seeking a highly-dedicated individual who thrives on performing routine laboratory tasks to join the Quality Control team at our HQ in Daly City, CA. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring a seamless workflow through preparing, shipping and testing our products in a chemistry lab environment. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a collaborative work environment with team members across the company.
What You'll Accomplish
- Receive and document all incoming samples from internal and external sources
- Prepare samples for various analysis
- Prepare samples and paperwork for shipment for testing and commercial purposes
- Maintains lab supply inventory, including testing materials, supplies and equipment solutions
- Conduct physical, chemical and food laboratory tests to ensure accurate and reliable data collection on samples
- Maintain precise testing records and data
- Assist QA with on-site environmental testing
- Use technical abilities to operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Perform equipment checks and calibrations
- Consolidate data from various testings in an accurate and timely manner
- Participate in safe laboratory practices
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
What You Bring (required)
- Education: Associate Degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Agriculture or related subject
- Ability to contribute in a fast paced, research-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of food chemistry, ingredient technology, food processing and analytical techniques used in the food industry is desirable
- Operate with moderate supervision and have meticulous attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and working with Google Drive is required
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments/tasks
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for The EVERY Company
Nice-to-have (but Not Required)
- Experience: 2+ years working in a QC lab following SOPs, good record-keeping skills

Pay Range: $64,000 - 70,000 + Stock Options + Benefits

Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.
