TRAIN Associate - Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Supply Chain
What is TRAIN?
The Tyson Rotation and Introduction Network is an entry level position designed to attract talented, high potential future leaders and provide them with an opportunity for professional development and exposure in multiple parts of the Business Services function. Candidates will complete a 12-month rotational program in multiple business functions and work with teams such as Engineering, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement. During the 12-month rotation, the candidate will spend six months in their desired discipline and the remaining six months rotating through the other disciplines.
Each candidate will experience a slightly different rotation, based on their desired discipline. Here’s a program overview and example of experiences the candidate will be given during the rotation program. Participants in the TRAIN can expect a wide range of work experiences as well as the opportunity to contribute to a multi-billion-dollar-global company. Participation in this program includes:
- Multiple cross-functional and cross-business rotational job assignments designed to accelerate the development of critical industry knowledge skills and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a college graduate, or expect to have a degree completed by June 2024, preferably with a four-year degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate based on business needs over the course of the program.
- Previous work, internship or co-op experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, experience with Access or SAP data mining a plus.
- Outstanding team player and self-starter with a passion for customer service, developing business relationships and solving complex business issues. Must have a passion for learning.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, and innovation.
- This position will interact with and is expected to communicate across a range of users stakeholders and management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
