Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for sales, business development and first tier technical supports of BU Valves & Pumps business in the country.
- This is a country-wide role and frequent travel is required.
- Hands on sales, drive business, and achieve budget.
- Continuously explore/identify/develop business opportunities and 3rd party business incl. new distributors & OEM.
- Ensure a "One face to the Client" culture supporting the New Machine and Service business.
- Manage the customer database for region of responsibility (CRM).
- Actively collect market data and provide regular market and customer feedback.
- Aim to develop key client relationships with a view to establishing long term business opportunities.
- Make positive suggestions for improvement to systems, procedures and policies to improve company productivity and performance.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Processing Engineering
- 5 – 10 years of working experience with at least 3 years in sales function, preferably with experience of development, management and support of distributors
- Strong technical knowledge preferable in dairy and beverage (incl. brewery) process
- Knowledge in process engineering
- Knowledge with pharmaceutical application would be a value added
- Able to read P&ID
- Proficient in English
- Deep understanding of business and technologies with developed focus on customer needs and fulfilment of customer expectations
- Open-minded and solution oriented, strong problem-solving skills
- Team player, good networker
- Very good communication skills
- Strong customer orientation - ability to engage with customers at different level
- Willing to travel overseas and throughout Indonesia
