About the Role:
We are seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the development of manufacturing systems and drive cross-departmental solutions. You will manage a multidisciplinary team and oversee the transfer of technologies to global production site, ensuring smooth implementation and training. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, and a creative approach to system development.
Your challenge:
Lead the hardware team in the design and integration of manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless interaction between hardware, mechanics, and software.
Define system-level requirements and technical specifications based on product needs and user requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Food Development, Production, Quality, and Technology) to understand company’s processes and challenges, delivering innovative and customized solutions.
Ensure global system alignment and scalability while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Transfer technological solutions developed locally to production plant abroad, including training local teams and supporting implementation.
Analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend their integration into existing and future systems.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
At least 10 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years as a technical lead with a system-level perspective.
Industry experience in food, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
Proven experience in process qualification and technology transfer such as FAT, SAT, TTP etc. – a plus.
Proven experience leading the development of multidisciplinary systems.
Strong understanding of system engineering processes, requirements management, and integration best practices.
Technical leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor cross-functional teams.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative mindset.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Adaptability and a proactive mindset in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Ability to guide, train, and support international teams through system implementation processes.
