The Foodservice Sales/Marketing Intern, guided by category and customer insights, will develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies and activities for food and beverages, including development of prototypes and solutions to showcase the value proposition of Ingredion’s ingredients and solutions for the foodservice channel. Additionally, the candidate will prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and build a library of case studies for new and existing customers, including operators/restaurants and manufacturers to drive sales growth.
Qualified Candidates Will Have
Progress towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree in, Food Science, Marketing, Business or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred
Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term
Demonstrated experience with hands-on restaurant experience – front of house or back of house
Knowledge of common food processes, food ingredient functionality and ingredient interactions preferred.
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills (technical reports for distribution, presentations, data analysis etc.)
Proven proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc..), AI (Co-pilot, chat GPT)
Task driven
Excellent writer and communicator
Ability to travel 10-15% domestically
Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
