About ProBio
ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. Job Scope
GenScript offers a customized RNA synthesis and delivery formulation service with significant growth potential. We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically rigorous individual to join our Innovation Center. The role involves developing novel lipid or other polymer molecules for RNA and gene delivery formulations, with experience spanning from R&D to scale-up.
Location: Redmond, WA
Responsibilities
Hands-on chemist dedicated to conducting innovative organic and lipid polymer chemical synthesis to enhance the company's proprietary lipid-based drug delivery platform.
Develop scalable synthetic processes for potential commercial use in LNP formulation.
Characterize, troubleshoot, and interpret analytical data from instruments such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, etc.
Maintain the chemistry laboratory and inventories following good laboratory practices.
Regularly communicate with supervisors and peers about research findings and propose next steps.
Stay updated on the latest technology and scientific trends.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
PhD. in organic, polymer, or lipid chemistry from an accredited university.
At least 1 year of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry; experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
Proven track record of scientific accomplishments, demonstrated through publications or patents.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Humility and eagerness to learn and contribute to a supportive team.
