You will lead the production of intermediate, finished, or semi-finished ingredient products, ensuring production and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards. You will guide process optimization and implement LEAN methodologies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. You will also provide technical support for formula and process improvements, scale-up of new products, and collaborate with teams to solve complex operational challenges. This is a dynamic position for someone passionate about encouraging and leading teams.

You will Report to: Head of Operations S. Hackensack
Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Manage ingredient material flow and inventory to meet cost, quality, and production schedule targets for assigned production lines. Oversee and validate product transfers while resolving complex issues involving multiple processes or formulas, such as poor yield and excessive processing times. Collaborate with engineering to obtain machinery and equipment for improved operations.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Develop and increase production processes and organizational systems using LEAN methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Implement formula and process improvements to improve quality, yield, safety, and overall site performance. Partner with teams to develop process improvement implementations, including planning, ownership, and user training.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Set strategic short- and long-term department goals, evaluate performance, and address gaps or opportunities. Lead high-performing teams through coaching, training, and effective communication of safety projects and factory changes. Collaborate with quality, planning, flavors creation, and science & technology teams to achieve shared goals.
Your Professional Profile Includes:
• BA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in product industrialization, LEAN manufacturing concepts, and change management.
• Understanding of business process/system redesign and financial concepts, including OPEX and CAPEX.
• Knowledge of ISO, FSCC, Food Safety standards (HACCP, AIB or equivalent), GHP, GMP requirements, and EHS standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Gmail, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• 4–7 years of experience with manufacturing operations with a solid foundation in supply chain, quality, and materials management.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in people management.
• Ability to manage physical demands such as climbing steps daily and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
