For our
Heating & Refrigeration Technologies Division we are looking for an
Area Sales Manager based in
Lisbon.
The Heating & Refrigeration Technologies Division provides sustainable solutions for industrial refrigeration and energy-saving projects based on natural refrigerants. The division has a broad portfolio of products in the following categories: screw compressors, piston compressors, chillers, and heat pumps. Our end customers are typically major brands in markets such as fruits & vegetables, pharmaceuticals, meat & seafood, marine, and oil & gas. GEA has offices worldwide, and the Heating & Refrigeration Technologies division offices are located in
Madrid and
Lisbon.
The person who assumes this position must perform the following tasks:
- Proactive prospection of assigned territory to generate business opportunities
- Develop business relationships with key stake holders based on expertise and integrity
- Communicate customer requirements and coordinate sales efforts
- Elaborate added value proposals and follow-up actively
- Acquire market intelligence and report sales activities
- Execute Sales & Marketing strategies
- Participate in exhibitions, workshops and other customer events
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Engineering degree with mechanical / industrial specialization
- Master’s degree positively evaluated
- Experience (>3 years) with Industrial Refrigeration or similar preferably in B2B sales
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical data and engineering systems
- Communicate effectively in Portuguese and English, other languages (Spanish) evaluated positively
- Good interpersonal skills and work well in team setting as independently
- Willing and able to travel up to 50%
- Able to make decisions in a position of great autonomy within the strategic guidelines
- Self-motivated
- Apply safety culture and good environmental practices policy
