As the North America Fine Fragrance (FF) Business Controller, you will report to the Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) Regional Controller. You will provide direct support to the FF Global Division Controller, the FF NOAM Head, and broader commercial and development teams. Your primary goal is to deliver interpretive and predictive analyses that guide decision-making, enhance productivity, and improve profitability to achieve Givaudan's performance goals.
Location: Givaudan, New York Office
Compensation Salary based on experience: $115K–$130K with a 10% bonus.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Assist in the development of the NOAM FF 5-year business plan and annual sales and operational expense budgets, ensuring alignment with FF strategic goals and initiatives.
- Perform monthly reviews of actual performance versus targets and prior years, including analysis of sales, margins, OPEX, headcount, and overall performance metrics.
- Ensure financial KPIs are accurate and relevant.
Financial Partnering
- Conduct independent ad-hoc analyses in collaboration with various FF Business Partners, including commercial, development, finance, operations, and HR.
- Provide commercially relevant financial guidance to the FF NOAM teams, identifying opportunities and recommending corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in collaboration with global and local controlling, pricing, and finance teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by evolving, streamlining, and automating processes, particularly in synergy with the F&B Regional Commercial Controller.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or Accounting.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience controlling/finance, with an international background.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and controlling methodologies.
- Experience with business intelligence systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Agile and curious, with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments and maintain a positive mindset.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in the Fragrance & Beauty industry.
- Knowledge of SAP Finance and Operations modules.
