What you'll do:
- This opportunity is planned to prepare you for your next career step – moving to Europe as a GEA Field Service Engineer e.g. to Germany
- Perform Service Maintenance, planned and unplanned.
- Complete assigned job in a timely and qualitative manner.
- Prepare Hazard and Risk Assessment and ensure implementation in compliance with customer & company SOP’s.
- Provide support to senior engineers in Installation and Commissioning.
- Provide customer training on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Perform troubleshooting with remote support.
- Write a comprehensive service report after the job.
- Identify and propose improvements to equipment and systems through the company’s product and services’ promotion.
- Prepare spare parts and tools for the assigned job.
- Follow international standards and policies for Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety, aiming to increase commitment and engagement in projects and programs developed by the company.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Who you are:
- International mindset, openness to move abroad (Europe)
- Very good working level of English - speaking and writing. Another European language (e.g. German, Italian, Danish) is considered an advantage.
- Degree in Engineering (Mechnical / Electrical)
- MInimum 2 years working experience in an engineering industry.
- Knowledgeable on workshop operation and practices.
- Knowledge on completion of worksite Hazard & Risk Assessment as well as QHSE trained.
- Industry: Chemical - Powder & Thermal Separation Technologies (PTS)
- Experience in an internship or trainee program can be considered to demonstrate experience for recent graduates.
- Technically inclined with good problem-solving skills and commercial affinity.
- Service oriented, patient, and flexible team player with strong customer focus.
- Good computer skills - Microsoft Office applications.
- Ready to travel frequently and works off-hours.
- Holding a valid driving license is required.
