We are seeking a well-organized, structured and strong people manager to lead the Order Management team in Bakel (NL) in the responsibility of managing the order processing of customer orders (end-to-end) in the lead to cash process. In this role, you will collaborate intensively with all other internal functions as well as closely with our Regions & Countries - Sales & Service organization.

Manager - Order Management
We are seeking a well-organized, structured and strong people manager to lead the Order Management team in Bakel (NL) in the responsibility of managing the Order Processing of customer orders (end-to-end) in the Lead to Cash process. In this role, the candidate will collaborate intensively with all other internal functions as well as closely with our Regions & Countries - Sales & Service organization.
Tasks
- Motivate, mentor, coach and develop the team of Order Management, to ensure customer orders are delivered as promised, in budget, on time to best quality and secure support is given for the installation and commissioning and ownership is taken for resolving shortcomings that appear after delivery for which the site is responsible.
- Steer and supervise a team of 7 Order Managers in their daily tasks of managing customer orders.
- Contribute in daily, weekly, monthly meetings with multiple functions (Engineering, Planning, Assembly, Logistics), representing Order Management.
- Contribute in and setting priorities in case of planning restrictions.
- Contribute and represent Order Management in daily plant/escalation meeting.
- Contribute and represent Order Management in monthly Sales & Operational Execution meeting.
- Weekly maintain the plant delivery file on delivery risks.
- Support Order Managers in project escalations from customer, Region & Countries and initiate project escalations in case quality project execution is at risk.
- Perform monthly team meetings to align on issues and push for continuous improvements.
- Follow up on central initiated HR processes like Perform & Grow, salary round and Employee Survey follow up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Secure to have clear and up to date work instructions matching our systems and tools for managing customer orders
Your Profile / Qualifications
- At least Bachelor (HBO) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in leading a team in a technical environment (i.e. machine manufacturing, technical services) in a mid/large size company.
- Experience in Project Management, managing the execution of customer orders.
- Process oriented mind-set.
- Strong communication skills on different levels in an organization.
- Strong team player, well capable to collaborate with other functions.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiatives.
- Highly capable to deal with work stress and setbacks.
- Able to take a helicopter view on complex issues.
- Positive mind-set, highly motivated to resolve problems and to deliver results.
- Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
