Micro Analyst needed to design and execute microbiological experiments that demonstrate the efficacy of our products in a wide variety of food applications. Maintain consistency in your work to generate clear and compelling data used for internal or external product evaluation.
- Intermediate level of micro laboratory experience. 1-3 years experience in equivalent lab settings. Food Science background is a plus.
- Minimum education level: Bachelor of Science in microbiology or equivalent fields.
- Detail oriented. Familiar with GLP, safety practices, and maintaining records through ELN or laboratory notebook.
- Demonstrate an ability to handle BSL2 organisms in an aseptic environment; plating, cataloging, and inoculating isolated strains into food systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally / collaboratively with team and colleagues on projects to begin learning key product line details.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with team members. Demonstrate initiative in your day-to-day work. Must be highly organized and adapt to constancy in your testing. Plan and execute technical work under the direction of scientists and leadership. Contribute positively by making suggestions for laboratory improvements in methods or techniques that result in benefits to the department. Generate technical information / data to be used in customer or internal technical presentations highlighting IFF antimicrobial product advantages. Maintain a positive working environment that fosters growth and collaboration between team members.
