As a key member of the Twin Falls Leadership Team, the Director of Manufacturing will provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Diary plant within Chobani’s Twin Falls, ID facility, the largest yogurt manufacturing facility in the world. The leader will have extensive experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, continuous improvement, driving business results and collaborative leadership to assure plant performance meets or exceeds established expectations. This role has the responsibility and the accountability of ensuring the highest level of safety and quality for Chobani’s employees and products.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. Drive initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing sr. managers, managers, supervisors, and frontline employees. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste elimination. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to drive operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Lead and support cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects. Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency throughout the manufacturing organization.
Planning: Collaborate closely with Chobani’s Sales & Operations Planning team to optimize responsiveness and timeliness to assure operational capacity matches customer demand
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and performance metrics to monitor key manufacturing KPIs. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to assure rigorous quality control standards and procedures. Implement measures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
GMPs: Follow Chobani’s safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence.
Dairy or food manufacturing preferred.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $188,000.00 - $282,000.00, plus bonus.
