Travel is required most frequently to the Rochester, NY facility for training and transition purposes within the first year of relocating the Global Quality Technical Group to Wilmington, DE. This role will be central to the relocation efforts.
Functional Overview:
The Culture Collection Team is responsible for services and support related to the propagation and maintenance of microbiological cultures (bacteria, yeast, and fungi) for management and distribution of global production strains and control organisms. This Team adheres to standard practices to produce consistent, pure, and high-quality cultures to meet manufacturing compliance.
Role Specific Overview:
- Intermediate level position with varied responsibilities within functional discipline. Distribution of responsibilities roughly 45% creation, 20% innovation and new technology, 20% customer intimacy and technical partnership, and 15% leadership.

- Effective computer, data interpretation, and database management skills (LIMS, SAP, SharePoint, Office 365 (Excel expertise a plus), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Access).
- Advocates and champions a strong ethical, safety, and inclusive working culture.
- Able to work on-site every day for the full day. This is not a remote position.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in relevant discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including education
