Job Description Summary:
As our Foodservice Sales Representative, based in either San Francisco or Los Angeles, you’ll lead our foodservice sales efforts across the region, with a focus on building strong relationships with distributors, restaurants, and foodservice partners. This is a road-heavy role (4 days a week), where you’ll work independently to open new accounts, expand existing ones, and drive regional growth.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new foodservice accounts in California, especially in Greater San Francisco Bay and Greater Los Angeles.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and foodservice professionals.
Expand product offerings within existing accounts, increasing brand presence and placement.
Develop and follow up on new leads, both in-person and over the phone.
Maintain and update customer records, sales leads, and promotional activities in our CRM.
Partner with our foodservice distributor partners network to optimize product reach and ensure top-notch customer experience.
Represent Cocojune in all customer interactions and participate in trade shows and conferences as needed.
Regularly monitor competitors, market trends, pricing, and store conditions to stay ahead.
Extensive travel required (70%+), primarily within California.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in foodservice sales or the restaurant industry preferred.
Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a competitive drive.
Ability to build strong relationships and connect with customers.
Comfortable with independent travel and working remotely.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
Intermediate/Advanced Excel & Power point skills
