IFF is looking for an energized Account Manager – Global Account to join our core team on a key Scent division client. In this role you will have the opportunity to be the face of IFF within a global account. You will have the opportunity to develop a regional business strategy to grow important sectors for this account, in partnership with IFF’s global category director, for some of the most exciting products in the consumer fragrance industry today. Working in a collaborative team environment, IFF will be looking for you to partner with the Creative team - Perfumers, Scent Design Group, CI and Marketing, and our scent innovation and technology group to showcase IFF's creative innovation and fragrance delivery capabilities.
About You
To be successful in this role you will hold a deep passion in perfumery and product development (Marketing/R&D) along with 5+ years of experience in the Fragrance Industry within a sales, marketing or creative function. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry or any other relevant discipline is highly regarded.

- Building and maintaining knowledge of the customer’s industry, products, and markets to target and create sales and growth opportunities while managing customer expectation.
- Interfacing with key customer decision-makers to validate and qualify opportunities in order to maximize profitability.
- Identifying innovative solutions which meets consumer and customer needs, over and above competition.
- Managing and executing complex and demanding projects by energizing and leading cross-functional teams.

Required Skills
- Smelling skills – Olfactory abilities to identify and differentiate fragrance types.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in fragrance industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Financial concepts / processes: i.e. pricing, margin, forecasting, statistics and IT systems.
- Strong negotiation techniques.
