This is an internship position responsible for assisting in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Work schedule to be determined by Maintenance Manager and the class schedule of the Intern. Intern cannot work more than 28 hours a week.
Education: Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program or applicant must be enrolled in an industrial maintenance educational program.
Communication Skills: Solid communication skills.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills knowledge.
Special Skills: Attention to detail; good organizational skills; ability to observe and understand processes; self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams; interest in obtaining a full-time position in with Tyson Foods Inc.
There will be lifting, climbing, walking, standing, bending, working both inside and outside in all weather conditions.
