Position Summary:
Coperion is looking for a
Product Sales Manager to join our team in
Pitman, NJ, Salina, KS, or Houston, TX. As a
Product Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing the operative sales business of the new ProRate PLUS Feeding and Pneumatic Conveying Refill product line by acting as the product line sales manager and an advisor to the sales teams regarding projects and associated tasks in growing the sales of the product line.
Work You’ll Do:
- Lead sales organization to attain established goals and directly service customers for assigned product line
- Interpret customer specifications, evaluate feasibility and risks
- Prepare, review and approve quotes for assigned product line
- Attend trade shows relative to assigned product line
- Responsible for the go-to-market approach of the portfolio within the dedicated market
- Work closely with the test lab and coordinate inhouse trials with customer and sales rep
- Maintain up to date knowledge on the Coperion/Coperion +K-Tron product portfolio, policies and goals
- Other duties may be assigned
Team:
Reporting directly to the Head of Market and Business Development, the Product Sales Manager will work within the Sales department, interfacing with sales representatives and their customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in a customer-focused, global environment and a technical degree with training in sales and marketing
- Experience and knowledge of the interpretation, design, calculation, and engineering of mechanical elements, components, and systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of standards in the manufacturing industry (machines/equipment)
- Ability to efficiently work in English (spoken and written communication), additional language skills would be of advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of the plastics industry preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and experience with Adobe Acrobat, Vault, and Lead Master is a plus
